The group meets Monthly on the 3rd Tuesday from 10.00
to 12.00
This group meets monthly, with some extra sessions occasionally to use the library
computers for free access to some family history websites.
Over the last few months we have looked at Staffordshire and Black Country ancestors,
the lives of agricultural labourers, and how DNA testing can help with family
history research.
Members are encouraged to talk about their own research and family stories.
We have heard about a bad fire in London, workers on large engineering projects in
England and Scotland and about an unexpected Far Eastern connection.
Future topics include poverty, crime and punishment and education.
Trace your family history - four week course in January/February 2018 for
Beginners. Venue and day to be decided dependent on numbers.
