Learning to Read Biblical Hebrew

The group meets Weekly on Monday from 14.15 to 15.45

This course is likely to appeal to anyone with an interest in languages, and in reading the Bible in its original language.
The aim is to help participants to be able to read and understand passages from the Hebrew Bible, with an emphasis on the Psalms.
Participants can look forward to learning in an informal, small-group, workshop setting.
The course is aimed at beginners, but anyone with more advanced knowledge will be most welcome, as participants are likely to progress at different rates anyway.
The main text used will be 'Learn Biblical Hebrew' by John H Dobson, which participants will need to purchase, (currently available from Amazon at £12.50).
Prospective participants will be pleased to learn that an encouragingly large amount of other resources is available free on the internet, including, most importantly, flash cards for learning the Hebrew alphabet!
