The Joy of Science
The group meets Second Friday from 10.00 to 12.00 Science and Technology for scientists and non-scientists
Topics chosen by members are discussed. These have included subjects as diverse as gravitational waves and lenses & prisms. The group comprises people with no scientific background as well as physicists, chemists, biologists and engineers, so whatever questions are asked, somebody knows the answer.
These talks are given by members of the group who are expert in their field.
We have recently met with the Science and Technology group leader of Cannock Chase U3A and agreed to exchange speakers. The talk in July will be given by Cannock Chase U3A.
There is still room in the group for more members and suggestions for future topics are welcome.
New members are welcome to join the group
