The group meets Weekly on Monday from 14.00
For this year, a series of one-off talks have been planned which will be advertised in advance.
All members are welcome
Each talk will be self-contained and does not require knowledge of topics covered earlier.
After the Easter break, the History Group will resume on Monday 29 April
29 April - The Cannock Chase Camp Railway, an illustrated talk.
6 May - No Meeting.
13 May - King Aethelered.
20 May - Vernacular Architecture, an illustrated talk.
27 May - No Meeting.
3 June - The 16th Century Age of Exploration.
10 June - No Meeting.
17 June - The Irish Potato Famine.
We try to keep to the schedule but occasionally circumstances require a change. All U3A members are welcome to attend but non-regular members of the group should contact the Group Leader if they plan to join us for a particular talk.
After 17 June, we will take a break for the Summer and resume on 16 September.
